The popular classic standard toy of putty fun since 1950, Silly Putty is a unique substance that stretches without breaking and bounces high like a ball. A fun fidget toy, each pink-colored Silly Putty comes contained within a classic red plastic eggshell case. Based on a silicone polymer and contains a viscoelastic liquid silicone, a type of non-Newtonian fluid, that allows this putty to act like a viscous liquid over a long time period but like an elastic solid for a short time period. Silly Putty bounces, stretches, floats, molds into shapes, picks up pencil marks, resists some pressures and flattens with others, and yet somehow always provides a soft, malleable feel.
